By leaving your device for service or requesting a diagnostic, you agree to the following terms.
By leaving your device for service, you authorize inspection, diagnosis, repair, and testing. A diagnostic fee may apply for devices that require evaluation before a repair quote can be provided. This fee is applied toward the total repair cost if the customer proceeds with the repair. If the customer declines the repair after diagnosis, the diagnostic fee is non-refundable.
Repairs may require replacement parts that are new, used, refurbished, or aftermarket unless otherwise requested.
While we use professional care, we are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, or failure caused by prior repairs, liquid damage, impact, or manufacturer defects.
Data loss may occur during repair. Customer is responsible for backing up all data. We are not liable for lost data.
Water-resistant seals may be affected once the device is opened and original water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
Estimates are based on visible issues; additional problems may increase cost and will be communicated when possible.
Completed devices not picked up within 30 days may be subject to storage fees and/or considered abandoned as allowed by law.
Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed. Secure payment options are available in store and online. Deposits are non-refundable once parts are ordered or work has started.
Mail-In Shipping Label Deposit: A $10 deposit is required before a prepaid shipping label is issued. This deposit is applied in full toward the final repair cost. If the customer cancels after the label is generated or the device has shipped, the deposit is non-refundable. If TechXpert cannot perform the repair, the full deposit is refunded.
Warranty covers only the specific repair performed and does not cover physical damage, liquid damage, misuse, or unrelated issues.
Repair protection plans are offered through a third-party insurance partner. Coverage terms, pricing, and conditions are governed by that partner's policy. TechXpert is not the insurer. Contact us for details.
Express Priority service guarantees next-available technician, not a specific time. The $25 express fee is non-refundable once technician work has begun.
Referral credits are applied as a discount to a future completed repair or accessory purchase and have no cash value. One referral credit per transaction.
